Many cases pursued by Mr. Goldberg are handled on a contingent fee basis, so that the litigation involves no up front cost to the client. As a former Chairman of the Boston Bar Association's Fee Dispute Committee, where he was responsible for overseeing complaints filed with the association by individuals who were dissatisfied with the fees charged by their attorneys, Mr. Goldberg is sensitive to the expectations of his clients when he embarks upon representing them.
